A new Board of Directors was determined for 2022-2023 at the BTG Contracted General Assembly

At the General Assembly meeting, BTG CurrentEight members of the Board of Directors have been elected to ensure compliance with the Bank’s strategic goals for the 2022-2023 period.

Reportedly, the new governing body meets the criteria for independence. It was also emphasized that the members were knowledgeable about the financial environment and had experience in various business sectors.

The board was formed as follows:

Armando Montenegro Trujillo: Appointed President of Banco BTG Pactual in Colombia. He has experience in the financial, economic and political sectors. He was advisor to the Colombian Government on coffee matters, director of the National Planning Department (DNP), chairman of Anif, and director of Ágora Corporate Consultants.

Juan Rafael Perez Velez: He is the current CEO of Banco BTG Pactual in Colombia. He has experience in the financial sector at companies such as Valores Bancolombia and ING Investment Management. Member of the board of directors of the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) since 2019. Co-founder of broker Bolsa y Renta, which was acquired by BTG Pactual in 2012.

Gonzalo Toro Bridge: He has more than 30 years of experience in the Colombian banking market and abroad, holding management positions at Bancolombia, Valores Simesa, Banco Agrícola (Salvador), Banco Agromercantil (Guatemala), Banistmo and BTG Pactual Colombia. BTG Pactual became a partner in 2020.

Gabriel Jaramillo Sanint (independent member): More than 45 years of professional experience. He has held management positions at Banco Internacional de Colombia, Marine Midland Bank, Citibank and Banco Santander, among others.

Catalina Crane Arango (independent member): More than 30 years of professional experience. Between 2010 and 2013, he served as a presidential adviser in Public and Private Administration. It was affiliated with the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the National Federation of Coffee Growers, and Procafecol.

Rodrigo Goes: With 25 years of professional experience, he held managerial positions at Bear, Stearns & Co, UBS Investment Bank, Banco UBS Pactual and Banco BTG Pactual.

Juan Guillermo Aguero: Over 25 years of professional experience with organizations such as Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank, Celfin Capital and Banco BTG Pactual Chile.

Fernando Massu Dara: 40 years of professional experience, held management positions at Citibank, Banco de Comercio e Industria, Banco Santander, Corpbanca and Banco BTG Pactual Chile.
