The Ladoga group, the Russian producer of Tsarskaya vodka and Barrister gin, has acquired the Center-Product whiskey distillery in the city of Budennovsk, Stavropol Territory. This was reported by RBC.
“Ladoga-Yug LLC, which is part of the group, became the owner of Kalmyk LLC Center-Product, which owns the Budennovsky plant,” the material says.
The Ladoga group confirmed to reporters that the transaction was completed.
“Center-Product” was registered in 1999, and the company began producing whiskey distillate from December 2023. Last year, the company’s revenue decreased by about 330 million rubles to 646 million, net profit also decreased.
Center-Product LLC’s revenue last year fell to 646.9 million rubles, compared with 980.6 million in 2022. The company’s net profit also fell from 219.6 to 155.8 million rubles.
