Debt includes taxes, duties, insurance premiums, fines, tax penalties and interest debts.
It was noted that overdue debts increased by 1.3 times in 2023 compared to 2022, reaching 1.325 trillion rubles. Two years ago, the amount of debt was estimated at 1.3 trillion rubles, and the total amount of debt was 1.027 trillion rubles.
In 2023, the budget received 36.183 trillion rubles of revenues managed by the Federal Tax Service, which is 8% more than in the previous year.
In February reportedFrom the beginning of 2024, the Federal Tax Service began to compile a monthly list of debtors with debts exceeding 50 million rubles and send it to its regional divisions. This group will include both individuals and legal entities, the newspaper explains.
Only those who have partially or fully paid their debt or received a deferment will be removed from the list. Such measures are designed to increase control over the effectiveness of debt collection, the Federal Tax Service notes in its letter.
