FAS joins the case of former Deputy Defense Minister Ivanov 06:20

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) requested the recovery of 17 million rubles from a company connected with the case of former Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov. This is reported by TASS Referring to the FAS objection.

“A statement of claim of the Federal Antimonopoly Service for compensation for damages to the federal budget in the amount of 17 million rubles,” the court documents state.

We are talking about damage in the amount of 17 million rubles caused by the Olimpitistroy company.

Before that, Olimpsitistroy co-owner Alexander Fomin, accused Former Deputy Defense Minister of Russia Timur Ivanov was fined 1,000 rubles for bribery.

Ivanov is accused of particularly large-scale bribery, in particular, two luxury cars with license plates worth several million rubles. Ivanov faces up to 15 years in prison; he denies the crime. The total amount of bribes offered to Ivanov is almost 1.2 billion rubles.
