The Kingdom of Morocco has significantly increased its purchases of Russian grain. About this newspaper “News“said Andrei Alekseev, Russia’s trade representative in the kingdom.
“The supply of wheat and barley has increased a lot. This is partly due to the drought that the region has been experiencing for several years. According to some expectations, this year the harvest in Morocco will decrease by 40%, and purchases will increase by one and a half times, which will open up certain niches for our producers,” Alekseev said.
The Russian trade representative added that bilateral trade between the countries is showing systematic growth; Russia purchases fruits (blueberries and cranberries), fish and crustaceans from Morocco.
Before that Russia became more frequent import Belarusian wines with names similar to Western brands.
