Natural gas prices for the population in Poland will increase from July. Energy costs will increase by 20 percent. This was reported by TASS referring to the republic’s energy regulation department.
“As of July 1, 2024, we are entering a period in which electricity and gas prices for households will not be frozen in a stable manner,” the document states.
Starting next month, the cost of gas for Polish consumers will be 239 zlotys (about $59.1) per 1 MWh. The current tariff of 200.17 zlotys (about $49.5) per 1 MWh was set in 2022 and has not changed since then.
