It has become clear how much recycling collection has brought to the Russian budget since the beginning of the year 13:08

At the end of the first quarter, the Russian budget’s revenue from the recycling fee reached 142 billion rubles. This figure was 2.5 times higher than the result for January – March last year. The newspaper writes about this “News” Referring to the Court of Accounts’ June report.

For comparison: in the same period in 2023, recycling brought only 59 billion rubles to the budget.

Authorities expect to generate revenues of 967 billion rubles from recycling collection by the end of 2024. The target is almost 1.5 times higher than last year’s total revenue (659 billion rubles).

The ministry stated that it was possible to collect 292 billion rubles as of June 17. Most of the revenue comes from taxes on vehicles imported into the country.

In Russia from July 1 will increase the size of the recycling fee for certain categories of special equipment. The increase will affect loaders, various categories of off-road dump trucks and heavy bulldozers.
