Canada adds an airline and several media outlets to its anti-Russian sanctions list 18:58

The Canadian government included the Pobeda airline, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta publication and St. Petersburg in the relevant list. Extended sanctions against Russia, including on the St. Petersburg TV channel. The press service reports that cabinet of ministers.

“Canada has imposed sanctions on Pobeda Airlines and a number of media outlets,” the statement said.

Also subject to restrictions were hockey player Vladislav Tretyak, Secure Internet League president Ekaterina Mizulina and others.

Previously United States Department of the Treasury imposed Restrictive measures against low-cost airline Pobeda.

Canada at the end of May introduced Sanctions were imposed on two Russian citizens and six companies accused of playing a role in the transfer of weapons from North Korea to the Russian Federation.
