The PentoPak factory in Ukraine, seized by Russian businessman Ivan Savvidi, was sold. Vitaly Koval, head of the country’s State Property Fund (SPFU), announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to Koval, the company was sold at auction for $2.5 million.
“The market determined the value of this object, and in the re-auction the winning bid was just over 103 million hryvnia,” Koval said.
It was noted that the buyer must pay the lot fee within 20 days. The PentoPak factory was seized from the family of Russian-Greek oligarch Savvidi. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund.
