As Gref emphasizes, achieving technological sovereignty has become one of the most important tasks that determine the vector of development of Russian state policy. According to him, the agreement with the Moscow region will make it possible to launch projects that are important for the economy of the region and the country and will affect the increase of investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the Moscow region.

“This will help improve the standard and quality of life; new jobs will appear, people and businesses will have uninterrupted access to the most high-tech products and services,” said the head of Sberbank.

Vorobiev described the agreement with the bank as another step towards the digital transformation of the Moscow region and the country as a whole.

“We are currently implementing nearly 300 import substitution projects. It is important to create more such industries. “We hope that we will be able to attract new investors to the region within the framework of the agreement,” he said.

The priority in ESG cooperation will be to solve socio-economic problems by protecting the environment and natural resource potential of the region. As Gref explains, the leadership of the Moscow region comes with a clear demand for sustainable development of the region
