More than half of Russians surveyed (52 percent) are ready to pay increased personal income tax (NDFL) by 15 percent on income of 5 million rubles per year. This follows from a survey of the financial market “Vyberu.ru”. socialbites.ca has its results.

Respondents were asked what annual salary they thought was fair enough to pay the increased tax. 31% of respondents voted for 2.5 million rubles per year. 17% believe that an increased rate of 15% can be paid if you receive about 1 million rubles a year.

At the same time, 52% of respondents fear that their personal income may decrease after tax changes. 9% think that the employer will pay the part of the salary exceeding the minimum limit “in an envelope”. 39% of respondents are confident their earnings will remain unchanged.

“The proposed reform of the tax system and the introduction of differentiated taxation will help reduce inequality in income distribution in society and increase tax revenues to the country’s budget, which will be directed to social needs. For income up to 200 thousand rubles per month (2.4 million rubles per year), a 13% tax will have to be paid, and for income between 200-416.7 thousand rubles, a 15% tax will have to be paid. per month (2.4–5 million rubles per year), 18% with income in the range of 416.7 thousand – 1.67 million rubles (5-20 million rubles per year), 20% with income in the range of 1.67–4 per month, 17 million (20-50 million rubles per year) and 22% with income over 4.17 million per month (50 million rubles per year).
