WSJ: US company will represent Abramovich in the arrest of his two planes

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich hired American company Kobre & Kim to represent him in a case involving the US arrest of two businessmen’s planes. This has been reported TASS With reference to The Wall Street Journal.

In a statement to the publication, the firm said they agreed to represent Abramovic’s interests as he “participated in peace negotiations and humanitarian activities,” and that resolving his legal issues would help the businessman continue to work in that direction.

Also, newspaper sources report that law firm representatives have registered as foreign agents because the US Department of Justice has requested information about political work with foreign governments, individuals, and legal entities.

On June 6, it became known that he was a federal judge in New York. signed an order for the arrest of two planes of businessman Roman Abramovich.

Formerly Roman Abramovich directed making a request to the European General Court of Justice in Luxembourg regarding the sanctions imposed on it.

It is reported that Abramovic filed a lawsuit against the European Council, which had previously imposed sanctions on the businessman.
