“Shops have no right to refuse acceptance if the series, number are visible and at least 55% of the banknote area is preserved. If you lose most of them, you can replace them at the bank by presenting your passport,” explained Vasilyeva.

He explained that banks will not accept banknotes with less than 55 percent of the remaining area, marked “Test”, “Sample”, painted with special compounds, out of circulation or containing unreadable data. Banknotes that are clearly fake are not accepted.
