Among the reasons for visiting fast food chains, Russians cited the desire to pamper themselves (58%) and save time (18%). Additionally, 12% of participants admitted that they liked the taste. Another 7% said they ate fast food to relieve stress, and 4% said it was a way to reduce food expenses.

Most often Russians order hamburgers, cheeseburgers and other types of sandwiches. Chicken dishes such as nuggets, drumsticks and wings are also popular. They buy a little less rolls and pizza.
