Cuba will make accepting cards from the Mir payment system a mandatory condition for the functioning of all organizations in the republic. This was stated in an interview by Cuban Minister of Tourism Juan Carlos Garcia Granda. TASS.
Granda said the Russian card is currently accepted nationwide, but not at all establishments.
“And we plan to make accepting the Mir card a mandatory condition for the functioning of any organization,” the minister said.
According to him, Cuban authorities will make it impossible to find a point of sale that accepts cards and does not accept Mir cards.
