Small and medium-sized businesses in Crimea and Sevastopol received financial support of 35.1 billion rubles within the framework of the National Guarantee System from 2020 to 2024. General Director of SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich talked about this.
He emphasized that currently small and medium-sized businesses in Crimea and Sevastopol are integrated into the Russian economy.
“Entrepreneurs in these regions actively use state support measures for development. In total, more than 3 thousand businesses operating under the professional income tax regime benefited from the support. We continue to improve our support tools to expand the scope of measures and increase the effectiveness of their use,” said Isaevich.
The sectors in which the most financial resources are invested within the NHS include construction, trade and manufacturing. A total of 23.9 billion rubles was allocated to these sectors. In addition, agriculture and scientific activities, with a total financing of 4 billion rubles, were also important sectors that received significant support. The remaining industries accounted for more than 7.3 billion rubles received by 785 enterprises.
It was noted that business support in Crimea and Sevastopol was carried out within the framework of the “Small and Medium Enterprises” national project initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its implementation is supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov.
Let us recall that this year, as part of state support for entrepreneurs in Crimea and Sevastopol, SME Corporation allocated a special “umbrella” guarantee limit with increased risk coverage. In the first half of 2024, SMEs of these two constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be able to withdraw at least 8 billion rubles under umbrella guarantees.
