Belarus bans the import of some goods from Lithuania

Belarus imposes a ban on the import of certain goods across the republic’s border with Lithuania. This has been reported telegram channel Belarusian government.

The following products are banned: water, beer, wine, grape must, vermouth, a number of other fermented drinks, ethyl alcohol, vinegar, pneumatic tires and tires, clothing. It will also not be possible to import “other used products and used parts and accessories of vehicles” into Belarus.

A statement from the country’s government states that this is a response to Lithuania’s decision to halt the movement of goods, transport and people through two border checkpoints.
