The program for granting concessional loans to high-tech, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises at 3% per annum within the framework of the federal project “Takeoff – from start-up to IPO” has been expanded to small technology companies (STC).
The press service of SME Corporation reported that the amount of funds borrowed under the concessional loan program for small technology companies (MTK) was increased to 1 billion rubles.
The press service added that for high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises the amount remains the same, up to 500 million rubles.
First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov stated that MTC can currently apply for loans through the SME.RF digital platform.
According to the terms of the program, companies can raise funds at a preferential rate of 3% per year for investment or working purposes. To receive financial support, businesses must use technologies from a list of 14 priority high-tech areas when creating products, including artificial intelligence, quantum communications and others.
“The expansion of support measures for small technology companies fulfills the task of ensuring the country’s technological sovereignty and the import substitution route set by the president,” Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said.
He added that preferential loans will help small high-tech companies reach a new level of development.
According to General Director of SME Corporation Alexander Isaevich, 1,700 companies have already received MTK status.
“To receive this state support, companies must comply with priority sectors, belong to the Ministry of Transport and Trade or pass the exam of innovative development institutions, have an annual income of 100 million rubles and have an average annual growth of at least 10%. said.
Let us recall that a preferential loan program was launched in April 2022 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin within the framework of the federal project “Takeoff – from start-up to IPO”.
