Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after a meeting with leaders of protesting farmers that republic officials will soon work to impose an embargo on agricultural products from Russia and Belarus. TASS.
“We will work together to ensure that Russian and Belarusian agricultural products are embargoed,” the head of government said.
The Prime Minister also announced that he would persuade party leaders in the ruling coalition to prepare and pass a bill on this issue in the near future. Tusk noted that the issue of restricting food coming from Russia and Belarus at the community level is also planned to be brought to the agenda.
