German Vice-Chancellor and Minister of Economy Robert Habeck said that the problems in the country’s economy stem from the fact that a significant part of industrial production depends on Russian gas. This was reported by TASS.
“There is a lot of energy-intensive industry in Germany because we bought a lot of gas from Russia. “This gas is not currently available,” he said.
According to him, other states either did not have as many energy-intensive industrial facilities or did not have Russian gas.
“The dependency we have has only been partially observed in Austria and the Czech Republic,” he said.
