In Ukraine, they will stop purchasing products for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from companies included in the list of “war sponsors”. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “League”.
Citing the words of the representative of the Ukrainian state logistics operator Dmitry Bigunets, the publication notes that a new criterion for the purchase of products to be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine has recently been introduced – “the absence of war sponsors” in the list compiled by the National Anti-Corruption Agency.
Additionally, suppliers with ties to Russia or Belarus will not be allowed to participate in the auction.
The list of “war sponsors” of Ukraine includes, among others, world-famous companies: Nestle, PepsiCo, Mars, Subway, Philip Morris International, Japan Tobacco International and others.
8 February Ukraine accepted The American company Allied Mineral Products is considered a “sponsor of the war”.
January 25 Ukraine added to the list “sponsors of the war” Swedish resource company ESAB.
PepsiCo had previously decided to reject from supporting Ukraine in advertising products on its territory.
