According to analysts at the management company Pervaya, the growth of the Russian stock market in January is connected with the increase in risk appetite in world markets, the weakening of the ruble and the expectations of the Central Bank for loosening monetary policy this year.

Experts at Pervaya Management Company believe that as inflation declines, investors’ confidence in changes in monetary policy will strengthen, so a gradual recovery in bond prices in the coming months is not ruled out.

The company’s analysts called the Consumer Sector the most profitable large fund. Experts explained that this includes shares of large Russian companies that focus on domestic demand and benefit from the exit of foreign companies.

Analysts also noted that the prices of Yandex and Magnit shares increased in January.

According to the report of Pervaya Management Company, the top 10 funds used to raise funds include the listed Savings Fund, which invests in money market instruments. The fund’s strategy allows you to earn money at a high rate. Investors invested 600 million rubles in it.

Also, one of the popular funds of the Management Company Pervaya was called “Russian Bond Fund” and “Income Payment Bond Fund”.

Analysts explained that the popularity of bond funds is due to investors expecting a change in the monetary policy of the Central Bank of Russia in the second half of 2024. This may allow you to make money from the active increase in the value of debt securities.

Additionally, funds that pay income into a bank account remain popular due to the high quarterly payments.

Pervaya Management Company reported that the total amount of funds invested in five such funds of Pervaya Management Company in 2023 exceeded 7.7 billion rubles.
