In Kiev, they plan to build an underground tunnel to provide additional communications between the right and left banks of the Dnieper. The publication “Strana.ua” writes about this.

“They want to create another route between the right and left banks by building an underground tunnel from Obolon to Troeshchyna in Kiev,” the report said.

It was noted that the Department of Transport Infrastructure confirmed the design of this route.

It is assumed that the tunnel will start from Bolshaya Koltsevaya in Obolon, pass under the Dnieper and exit north of Troeshchyna.

According to media reports, the tunnel could cost hundreds of millions, if not a billion dollars. It was noted that “the local budget will definitely not be able to handle this.”

Before reportedIt was stated that Ukraine’s consolidated budget deficit will increase by 56.5% in 2023 compared to 2022, reaching 1.3 trillion hryvnia (more than 35 billion dollars). This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Daniil Getmantsev. According to him, Ukraine’s budget expenditures increased by almost 46% last year, reaching 4.4 trillion hryvnia ($118 billion). The increase in spending is primarily due to the growth in the military budget.

Formerly at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved The EU’s decision to allocate 50 billion Euros to Ukraine.
