Polish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Czeslaw Sekierski announced that the flow of fruit from Ukraine should be reduced. His words guide the way RBC.
Şekersky noted that Europe’s agricultural policy is very open to agricultural products from Ukraine, which forces farmers in different countries to organize protests. He emphasized that agricultural workers expect the unified EU policy in this area to be simplified.
In this context, the minister called for “cutting off the flow of fruit” from Ukraine, which he thinks will allow Polish fruit growing specialists to increase their profits.
Sekersky also promised to analyze the EU project on expanding trade measures on imports from Ukraine.
“Preliminary analysis shows that the European Commission’s proposals generally go in the right direction, but only partially take into account our demands. “We will continue to defend the demands in discussions at the EU forum,” the minister said.
Before that the Polish government accepted Decision banning grain imports from Ukraine.
Previously Polish manufacturers in the name authorities will ban the import of Ukrainian sugar.
