Maksut Shadayev, Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Media, considers it necessary to increase exports of Russian software (SW) to friendly countries, author Interfax.
On the sidelines of SPIEF-2022, he said, “It is clear that we urgently need to increase our exports to friendly countries to compensate for the losses in the foreign market, and this cannot be done quickly without direct government support.”
In this context, the Minister of Digital Development asked industry participants to create a plan to support such exports during the summer period.
Shadayev noted that Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa are the priority of the Russian side in software exports.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development also identified several main areas of work – this is financial support for exports, support for sales and the development of infrastructure for international cooperation.
