Honored Lawyer of Russia Ivan Solovyov said that self-employed Russians can be equalized with non-working pensioners and their pensions can also be indexed. The agency reports that “Hit the primer”.
“Apart from the attractiveness of the low tax rate, as well as the ease of preparing and submitting simplified reporting, citizens collectively pointed out the shortcomings. Therefore, self-employed status does not allow for the receipt of certain types of state benefits, and pensions of self-employed people are not indexed in the same way as those of working retirees,” explained the lawyer.
He added that the Ministry of Labor’s bill is currently at the inter-ministerial approval stage and will then be sent to the State Duma. Adoption of the law will encourage an increase in the number of self-employed people and further legalization of the individual entrepreneurship segment.
