“It is very important that our commercial institutions start working directly with Russian ones. We signed the first program with KamAZ, a lot of Belarusian enterprises were involved in it, ”the Belarusian minister said.
In his opinion, it is important that the segment of the product that is planned to be produced will be needed not only in the republic, but also in the automotive industry enterprises of the Russian Federation.
Parkhomchik claims that in this way “double capacity will be created to supply its own and Russian consumers.”
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). warnedHe said import substitution is not a “panacea” and that Russian business “should not repeat itself”.
In his opinion, the Russian economy needs to be “one step ahead”, creating its own competitive technologies, goods and services that can “become new world standards”.
