The cost of Purina One, Gourmet and Darling brand wet food for cats and dogs will increase by 4% in wholesale sales, and Purina One cat and dog food will increase by 1% to 10%. Felix dry cat food will become 6.4-8% more expensive wholesale.

The price of dry food Pro Plan for dogs and cats will increase from 1% to 12%, and the price of wet food will increase by 1.5%. Pro Plan’s veterinary products for cats will become 4-12% more expensive for dry food and 9.7% more expensive for wet food. The increase in dog food prices in this category will be up to 10 percent for dry food and 7 percent for wet food.

Nestle explained the increase in prices due to changes in the cost of feed. The company noted that raw material purchase prices will increase by 11-25% in 2023. Additionally, logistics (+30% y/y) and packaging (+8%) have become more expensive.
