Al-Dabaa is Egypt’s first nuclear power plant. The facility is located 300 km northwest of the republic’s capital, and in accordance with a bilateral agreement, its construction is carried out by the Russian state company Rosatom.
According to Vikhansky, the Egyptian nuclear power plant is a unique project. Experts are building four power units almost simultaneously, and the “step” between construction stages is only six months.
