Alfa-Bank, BNPL service Podeli and Gazpromneft gas station network have introduced installment online payment at gas stations. This is reported on the bank’s website.
For the first time in Russia, the possibility of paying in installments at gas stations appeared. As the bank explains, you can pay for refueling in the mobile application of the Gazprom Neft gas station network using the “Podeli” service. Thanks to the service, the buyer pays part of the refueling cost immediately and the rest later.
“When choosing a payment method, the option to pay in installments will appear; when refueling, the customer only needs to pay 25% of the cost, the rest in three equal payments every two weeks,” the message says.
It is stated that the service is available to those who have any card of any Russian bank. In this case, the user will receive a preliminary message about the upcoming debit of funds for the completed purchase.
Let us also remind you that Alfa-Bank business partner’s “Share” service is the first BNPL (Buy now, pay later) service in Russia and offers the opportunity to pay in installments not only online but also offline. The main difference between BNPL and bank installment plans is the absence of commissions and overpayments, as well as fast processing without the need to provide any documents and sign a loan agreement.
Currently, more than 40 thousand partners are connected to the Share service and their number is constantly increasing.
