Eight Shebekino enterprises damaged by the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive compensation in the amount of 580 million rubles. In this respect Wrote Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov on the Telegram channel.
The money will be used to repair damaged infrastructure. Funds will come from federal and regional budgets.
By the end of 2023, five enterprises received 800 million rubles. The governor explained that this was done “thanks to the decisions and support of the president.” The regional president added that relevant work will continue.
On December 18, 2023, Gladkov held a meeting with the heads of affected enterprises. Meanwhile, the governor announced that the authorities have allocated 1.675 billion rubles to compensate for capital costs incurred to revive business activities. A significant part of this money (1.273 billion rubles) will come from the federal budget, and the remaining 402 million rubles will come from the regional budget. Prior to this, 1.45 billion rubles were allocated to assist companies in border regions.
