Moldova will buy liquefied gas from the United States for the first time next week. This was reported by Interfax Referring to the statement made by the Minister of Energy of the Republic Viktor Parlikov on local television.
According to him, a ship with American LNG has already arrived in the Greek port of Alexandroupoli, and Moldova will be one of the first buyers of gas after it is unloaded.

Moldova has been receiving Russian gas under the contract with Gazprom since November 2021.
