Analysts analyzed food prices of popular New Year’s dishes in the 2023/2024 season and compared them with last year’s data. The price of cold meats increased the most with 39%. The price of the Olivier salad product set has increased by 17% and now costs 364 rubles per kg. Herring under a fur coat became even more expensive – the price increase was 19% and reached 399 rubles per kg.
The price of some cucumber eggs has increased more than 3 times. Service analysts calculated that if in 2022 a C1 egg costs 7 rubles, now its price is 31 rubles.
Prices of fruit and vegetable slices increased by 34% and 27% respectively. The price of hot meal meat increased by 34% and the price of red fish increased by 16%. The cost of a bottle of champagne increased from 1,400 rubles to 1,600 rubles. Vodka, bread and fruit juices showed the least increase in price. But even the price of red caviar fell by 3% – from 2486 to 2479 rubles per 500 grams.
