Ferdinando Pelazzo, President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (IRCC), said that imports of Italian refrigerators and other food processing equipment to Russia have increased. This was reported by RIA News.

According to Pelazzo, exports of Italian equipment to Russia are falling because many goods have components subject to sanctions or are dual-use goods. However, exports of refrigeration equipment remain outside this trend.

“Exports of food processing equipment and refrigerators are starting to increase despite the overall decline. Italians are starting to sell more than before. It is clear that this is a typical Italian business, but this is already a good signal that exports from Italy are somehow being revived,” shared the head of IRTP.

Before that RIA Novosti reportedRussia ranked ninth in the list of sparkling wine imports. The world’s largest importers of sparkling wine in the period January-August 2023 were the USA, the UK and Japan.
