Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Verescu said that if no changes are made to the current decision, approximately 2 million internally displaced Ukrainian citizens may lose their social benefits as of February 1, 2024. She reported this on her Telegram channel.
According to him, about 2.5 million people are currently receiving payments, and 40% of them live on government assistance alone.
Verescu added that Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal ordered the development of draft amendments to be included in the current document.
