Most of these participants (35%) are considering changing their field of activity to earn more. 33% of respondents plan to look for additional part-time work. 11% of survey respondents confirmed that they will be looking for a similar but higher-paying vacancy in the new year. 6% planned to receive training to improve their professional qualifications and apply for higher positions, including management positions. Only 15% of respondents do not plan to change their working conditions next year because they are satisfied with their current income level.
“Of course, the main reason for changing jobs is the reluctance to lose income in the face of rising prices. But for job seekers, the situation on the labor market is optimistic: the developing shortage of highly qualified specialists in some areas is forcing employers to hire people either for higher salaries or for specific project tasks. Such part-time work can be considered a part-time job,” said Yaroslav Bajurak, general director of the financial market Vyberu.ru.
He added that the rapid development of online professions allows people to quickly retrain for new specialties and start working immediately, including remotely. The expert concluded that thanks to this, you can find the desired vacancy in a large company with interesting conditions, without being tied to your region of residence.
