The Ukrainian Ministry of Justice applied to the country’s Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) with a request to seize two Russian passenger planes belonging to the Russian leasing company OJSC Ilyushin Finance Co. The ministry’s press service reported this on Facebook (its owner, Meta, is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
“The Ministry of Justice filed another lawsuit with the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court to impose a sanction in the form of asset recovery for the purpose of state revenue. The Department of Justice is seeking sanctions against Ilyushn Finance Co. In the statement, it was stated that the subject of recovery of state revenues was two An-148-100E medium-range passenger aircraft.
Before that, Ukraine’s highest anti-corruption court applied Sanction in the form of the recovery of assets worth more than $ 4 million from the Russian enterprise “Aviation Complex named after SV Ilyushin”.
