The average maximum rate of deposits in rubles in the largest banks of the Russian Federation increased by 0.52 points to 14.52%. In this respect reports TSB RF.

After the Central Bank increased the interest rate to 8.5 percent in July, the average maximum deposit interest started to increase. It has increased almost continuously since then, except for early October.

The fastest growth occurred during the period when the Central Bank increased interest rates. In November, the pace slowed down and at the end of the month the figure stood at 13.64%. However, in December, the average maximum deposit interest returned to growth and reached 14% at the beginning of the month and 14.52% in the second ten days of December.

The historical maximum of the indicator was recorded in March 2022 at 20.51%. The minimum value was observed in October 2020 and amounted to 4.33%.
