Exports from Japan to Russia in November decreased by 60.9% compared to the same period last year. This was reported by RIA News Referring to the Japanese Ministry of Finance.

According to the ministry, imports from Russia to Japan decreased by 26.7%, and the trade turnover amounted to 119.105 billion yen ($821.42 million).

It was noted that automobile imports from Japan to the Russian Federation decreased by 44.9 percent, and imports of Japanese spare parts and parts decreased by 32.5 percent in this period. The decline in import volumes has been observed for several months after Tokyo partially banned the supply of automobiles to Russia. The ban applies to cars with an engine capacity of more than 1.9 liters, as well as hybrid cars.
