Maersk suspends container transportation via the Red Sea

AP Moller-Maersk, a Danish company specialized in maritime cargo transportation, is suspending all container shipments via the Red Sea due to the attack on the company’s ship. This was reported by Reuters Based on the company’s statement.

“Following the incident at Maersk Gibraltar yesterday and another attack on a container ship today, we have instructed all Maersk ships in the area due to transit through the Bab al-Mandab Strait to cease traffic until further notice,” the company said.
