“Currently the parties, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, have agreed on the technical feasibility of transporting along this route in the same volumes, up to 1.2 million tons per year, until 2024,” the ministry said.
Before that the Senate (Parliament) of Kazakhstan approved Protocol on amendments to agreements on oil supplies with the Russian Federation.
