As stated in the material, during the hostilities, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) took shelter on the territory of the facility for a while. However, Russian troops forced Ukrainian soldiers to leave the facility and they then began clearing it.
“This business has a restoration plan prepared, it consists of four stages. We have already reached the first stage – these are five auxiliary workshops. Of these, the slag processing workshop is already in operation and the consumer goods production department is also in operation,” the agency source said.
He added that profiled sheets and bent corners are produced in the consumer goods production workshop. In addition, employees of the department are engaged in the production of bent channels for the restoration of the facility.
Additionally, the company currently operates a coping store, according to Solonar. The deputy director of the plant said that experts are preparing scrap ferrous metals for smelting here.
Finally, he emphasized that 3.7 thousand local residents currently work at the facility. According to the plans of the company management, the number of personnel will be increased to 24 thousand people in the future.
