British authorities will leave anti-Russian restrictions in place after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by UK Deputy Minister for Business and Trade Nusrat Ghani at the Policy Exchange think tank in London. TASS.
“Sanctions will continue to be imposed when the conflict ends. They will not be cancelled,” Ghani said.
He stated that the British government wanted to prevent “the restoration of Russia’s military capabilities”.
London on 11 December will create Service for monitoring compliance with the sanctions regime regarding the Russian Federation. The UK Department of Trade and Trade has announced that the special service will be given the power to impose fines on private firms that violate the law and refer criminal cases to the national tax and customs office.
