Efforts by the Group of Seven (G7) countries will aim to further limit Russia’s use of the international financial system. This was reported by TASS Based on the joint statement.
“We continue our intention to limit the export of all goods critical to Russia’s military and industrial base,” the document said.
The G7 called on third parties to take similar measures.
The statement emphasized that they would strive to further limit Russia’s use of the international financial system. In addition, the G7 plans to intensify the fight against evasion and circumvention of “sanctions and export controls.” The document stated that additional measures would be taken against third country organizations that provide financial support to Russia. Summit participants added that they would persecute those who help Russia in supplying machinery, equipment and materials.
