Bolloev emphasized that when subsequently evaluating the company, the book value of the organization’s fixed assets, which currently amounts to 17 billion rubles, should be taken into account. Also, according to the head of the enterprise, the organization needs significant funds to update technological equipment and software.

Bolloev noted that the Carlsberg Group followed a policy of systematically reducing the production of its founding brand Baltika, which accounted for only 29% of its sales volume last year, while the production of brands such as Yarpivo and Nevskoye was reduced to zero. The president of Baltika believes that this can lead to a loss of up to 50% of the volume and revenue indicators of the enterprise.

A Vedomosti source close to the Ministry of Finance said that the letter was received, but explained that there is no such precedent in the Russian Federation. Another source confirmed to the newspaper that talks are ongoing regarding the nationalization of Baltika.
