Slovakia’s Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar said Slovnaft is trying to extend the removal of Russian oil from the EU sanctions list for another year. His words guide the way standard.sk.

“We are trying to extend the Slovnaft exception by one year, we are talking about products for both the Czech Republic, Ukraine and for us,” the official said.

According to Blanar, the failure of these negotiations with EU leaders may cause inflation in the country to increase.
