“The deployment of renewable energy sources is progressing, but not at the required pace,” the German Chancellor emphasized.
He also noted that it is important to “double energy efficiency by 2030.” According to Scholz, the expansion of the use of renewable resources has already accelerated in Germany and this must now happen everywhere in the world.
