One-third (30%) of iPhone users have point-of-sale (POS) credit. Among owners of smartphones based on Android, there are almost half as many of them – 16%. This was stated in a study of Pochta Bank based on customer statistics received by socialbites.ca editors.

The study notes that mainly the iPhone is chosen by young people aged 19 to 30, a third of whom live in the capital and regions of the North Caucasus.

“At the same time, Android smartphone users are twice as likely to open online deposits as iPhone owners, but the size of the deposit for iPhone is almost 30% larger. And the balances in savings accounts of Android users are one and a half times higher and amount to an average of 27 thousand rubles,” the bank writes.

According to him, 90 percent of Android smartphone owners regularly use debit cards, while among iPhone users, the proportion of such people is 30 percent less.

Post Bank conducted a study in November 2023. 4 million customers who regularly use the mobile application participated. 75% of them have Android-based smartphones, 25% have iOS.
