Ukraine’s economy could reach pre-crisis levels in 2030

Ukraine’s gross domestic product (GDP) will reach 5.5 trillion hryvnia in 2030, the level of 2021. This is stated by RIA News According to data from the Ministry of Economy and the Central Bank of Ukraine.

According to the agency, Ukraine’s GDP in 2022 decreased from 5.5 trillion to 3.8 trillion hryvnia (-29.1%) at constant prices.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine’s October forecast, the country’s economy will grow 4.9 percent at the end of the year, 3.6 percent in 2024 and 6 percent in 2025. As a result, the agency notes, GDP in three years will be approximately 4.5 trillion hryvnia at 2021 prices.

“Thus, with an average annual growth rate of 4.8%, the economy will reach the pre-crisis level in just five years – in 2030, GDP will reach 5.6 trillion hryvnias at 2021 prices,” the material states.
