Kremlin official Dmitry Peskov told the Financial Times publication during a briefing that the EU has ordered Danish officials to inspect tankers carrying Russian oil.
Asked by a journalist how the Kremlin evaluates such risks, Peskov said he did not have such information.
“Maybe he owns our Ministry of Transport (information – socialbites.ca). It makes sense to investigate there. Here everyone needs to be warned in advance about compliance with the rules of international commercial shipping,” shared Peskov.

Denmark will be able to monitor and prevent tankers carrying Russian oil from passing through its waters. Russian oil transported via the Baltic Sea, approximately 60% of total seaborne exports, passes through the narrow Danish straits on its way to international markets.
